Is the opening to this novel good (VERY SHORT)? Would you read on? How could I improve?

mmm.... it is good and i gues u are trying to keep whats happening unknown but maybe give more terrified emotion to the two characters; it doesnt really make sense that everyone else is frantic and stuff and they are just standing there kissing. i guess yeah the main character would be taking in the details of the person he loves but still add some more frightened emotion into it if that how the secen ismeant to be.
